Grace

This LO is based on the current Pencil Lines sketch (No. 85). I've also used 7 pieces of patterned paper, for the current Mystical Scrapbooks UYS challenge. It doesn't look like it, but there ARE 7 different papers on this page. I've matted the photos over 3 scraps of patterned paper, 3 poking out up top and 1 at the bottom, though the bottom one is not that visible underneath my journalling spot. The journalling spot was cut out from a 5th piece of patterned paper using wavy-edged scissors. A 6th piece of paper was used for the swirls, and finally, the 7th piece was used to punch out a few circles for decoration. The papers are by Daisy D's, 7Gypsies, Making Memories X2 different ranges, My Mind's Eye X2 different ones and Creative Imaginations. Added some brads from K&Co and Craft Affair, flowers from We R Memory Keepers, and the Collections chipboard letters which I decided to keep raw as there were already so many other elements on the page. Quite happy with how it turned out :)

Famished

This was based on the Scrapjacked May sketch, which I LOVE! Probably one that I'll use again! :)

Materials:
- Bazzill
- KI Memories and Daisy D's paper
- Bo Bunny and My Mind's Eye rubons
- Bo Bunny flowers
- StampIt rhinestones
- German scrap
- Ink

Fairytale Castle

This LO was created using a challenge pack from Scraptivate. Not sure what line every item is from, but the papers are Cosmo Cricket, and I think the "lace" paper is KI Memories. I sprinkled mini mosaics and glitter onto the chipboard butterflies after brushing over with some glue. Added the rhinestones, letters, and inked the edges of the cardstock...and that was it! :)

Believe

This LO is based on sketch 19 on the 52 Weeks website. The photos were taken at the cathedral in Nazareth, Israel - caught this woman deep in prayer and couldn't resist snapping the photos!

Materials:
-Bazzill
-K&Co chipboard letters
-Daisy D's paper
-Deja Views sticker
-Hero Arts gemstones

Another simple LO, but I'm liking simplicity right now :)

Mucha

I'm very pleased with how this turned out! The current "Mojo" challenge on the Mystical Scrapbooks website is to use a masking tape background, and I'd learned this technique at a recent ATC class, come away with a few paints, but hadn't yet played with my new paints! So what a good excuse to finally bring them out, lol! Anyway, the background that I ended up with just didn't seem to fit with any of my photos, so ended up scrapping about one of my favourite artists instead - Mucha. The playing cards were purchased at the Mucha Museum in Prague, and had long been planning to use them for a set of ATCs, but I think I prefer them all sitting on the same page. Am so please with this that am thinking of creating an A-Z of favourite artists!

Other materials:
-German scrap treated with Rub and Buff and Treasure Gold
-Creative Imaginations stickers and slide mount
-Making Memories charm
-Collections chipboard letter
-7Gypsies brads

Aunty Jenny

This photo was taken in the UK, with a distant aunt who nonethelss took me under her wing while I lived there. Very simple LO, but I'm pleased with how it turned out anyway :) This was based on a sketch from the Mystical Scrapbooks website.

Materials:
-Bazzill
-Basic Grey diecuts
-Heidi Grace alphabet stickers
-7Gypsies tabs
-My Mind's Eye rubon

The beautiful Brighton Beach

These photos were taken at Brighton Beach, my home away from home when I was living in the UK. Though the beaches there aren't quite the same as Cottesloe Beach in Perth or the Gold or Sunshine Coasts in Brisbane (other places that I've called home), it has its own appeal and definitely holds a special place in my heart.

LO based on the current Pencil Lines sketch.

Materials:
-Bazzill
-K&Co chipboard
-KI Memories paper (just a few strips cut out of it!)
-Christina Re brads
-Prima flowers

Very simple LO but great way to showcase a few photos. Creating this brought back happy memories! :)

Silly Poses

This LO is based on the Forever Always May mid-month sketch, together with the Sisterhood "Silly" theme. These photos were taken at Blarney Castle in Ireland, and we couldn't help it - were behaving like little kids! Had fun though, lol!

Materials:
-Bazzill
-Basic Grey paper
-Bo Bunny and Creative Imaginations letter stickers
-Arrows from a challenge pack from Scraptivate

Simple LO due to the number of photos, but I quite like this one! :)

Another LO about mum

These photos were taken when I lived in the UK (Brighton) and mum came to visit. Journalling is about how mum loves to travel and used to take me everywhere on family holidays...and I seem to have inherited the same compulsion to see the world! The LO is based on the current Scrapjack sketch on the Mystical Scrapbooks website.

Materials:
-Bazzill
-K&Co tag and chipboard
-Kaiser, Prima and Heidi Swapp flowers
-DCWV stickers
-Ribbon
-Christina Re and Craft Affair stickers
-Icons rhinestones

Birds

This photograph is a bit too dark, so the LO actually looks prettier IRL I think. This LO was done using the current Basic Grey sketch, and incorporating birds for the current Rainbow Lady challenge blog.

Title is "Always Cheerful", and the journalling down the side reads "You are like a bluebird of happiness".

Materials:
-Bazzill
-Basic Grey, Webster's Pages and My Memories papers
-BoBunny rubons
- K&Co chipboard letters
-Creative Imaginations sticker alphabets
-Sei sticker borders
-Collections chipboard bird
-German scrap
-Ink

Recycled LO

Scrapmojo's current challenge is to recycle an old LO. This was quite an easy one as I was quite pleased with a LO I did a few weeks ago about the little town of Oia in Santorini. I used the same basic sketch, colour scheme (previously cream, blue and pink; now cream, blue, pink and red) and a few of the same products (the lettering, ribbon, small journalling tag, 3 flowers though in a different style, and Heidi Grace alphabet stickers). Differences:
-journalling as a border instead of lines with small snippets of journalling
-title placement downwards instead of left to right
-number of photos
-didn't have a transparency tag to layer over the photo of myself (previously was a photo of a friend), so found another, more elaborate transparency

Materials:
-Bazzill
-Making Memories paper
-Bo Bunny flowers
-Heidi Grace alphabet stickers
-Fancy Pants transparency and rubons
-Craft Affair brads
-Small tag, ribbon, Marvy brushmarker to write with, ink

I really love this sketch - still like it second time around! :)

Mum

In time for Mother's Day! This LO was based on this week's Pencil Lines sketch and uses the White + 1 challenge of white + pink + LO about mums. I love this photo of mum, and I loved digging out all my pink embellishments for this!

Materials:
-Bazzill
-K&W paper
-Sei tag and stickers
-Cupcake paper, ink, ribbons, flowers from a $2 shop
-Creative Imaginations letter stickers
-Collections chipboard letters painted with distress ink
-Computer printing

Go Dutch

This LO was done to match the "April Flowers" LO I'd done for last month's 123 challenge. It's based on the current Mystical Scrapbooks sketch challenge, but I've added the extra handmade embellishments so that the page would tie in with my previous LO, which also used facial cotton pad and paper clip handmade embellishments. Very simple page, but I like it!
Materials:
-Bazzill
-Daisy D's and KI Memories papers
-Embellishments made with facial cotton pads, ink, paper clips, ribbon, rhinestones, Craft Affair and 7Gypsies brads
-Felt letters
-Staples and my current "flavour of the moment" is computer-printed journalling strips!

Monochromatic

This LO was inspired by the "Monotone Rainbow" challenge on the Rainbow Lady's website, which was to create a monotone page using one of the colours of the rainbow. This was a bit of a challenge as I normally love technicolour, but finally got it completed...even if it was about 2 weeks after the set deadline! Am really pleased with the end result though, and now want to do a monotone page in ALL colours of the rainbow!

Materials:
-Bazzill
-Love Elsie paper
-Ribbon, buttons, staples
-Bella chipboard letters
-Creative Imaginations alphabet stickers
-Ink, and a bottle cap was used to create the circles

Peace

Hmm...all white does not photograph well, but I'm pretty happy with this LO IRL as I wasn't sure I could do it! This is for the colour challenge on Mystical Scrapbooks, and in fact I used a sketch from their website. The sketch was from the previous week, and included hidden journalling, which I thought was perfect to hide my writing done in black ink - would have ruined the monochromatic LO!
Title is "Peace". Journalling is about how this photo was taken at the Slieve League coastline of northern Ireland. Seeing the sun's rays on the sheep really reminded me of God's Spirit descending on His Son, the Lamb of God. It was such a peaceful moment, just standing there, admiring God's Creation and being thankful for everything in my life that I have thanks to Him.
Materials:
-Bazzill
-Bo Bunny flowers
-Can't see them well, but there are Stamp It rhinestones and Scraptivate's German Scrap above and below the photo
-Ribbon for the tag
-Making Memories clear transparent shapes
-Creative Imaginations clear alphabet stickers
-I sanded the photo and used a wee bit of blue ink on the edges of the photos and tag just so they wouldn't get lost in the all-white page
This was a difficult challenge, but well worth it! :)

Memorable

This LO is based on the Pencil Lines sketch for this week, only turned 90 degrees o that I could also submit it for the Scrapdragons challenge (I wanted a sideways title). In addition, it also fulfils the pink + black + 1 (white) criteria on the Rainbow Lady's website!
The photos were taken at Linderhof Castle in Bavaria, Germany, including 1 photo of myself. The journalling on bottom left is about what a memorable day it was.
Materials:
-Bazzill
-Teresa Collins "Bella Girls" die cut
-Scraptivate's German scrap
-Heidi Swapp buttons x8
-Hallmark wrapping paper (this is the pink paper with the stitched flowers)
-Craft Affair button brads X20
-Craft Affair flowers and alphabet stickers
-Heidi Grace alphabet stickers
-White flowers from a $2 shop
I really love the combination of these colours, and I think they go well with the photos! :)

Bilbao - Casco Viejo

I'm so hooked on web challenges that I hadn't done a freestyle page in quite some time, making this, my first in a long while, a bit of a challenge - just wasn't sure what to include and where to put each embellishment/photo! Am pretty happy with how it turned out though, and as Arty Girlz are having an "open" theme this week, I decided to enter this page in their draw this week.

This layout is, obviously, about Bilbao, a quaint little town in Spain that lays claim to the world-famous Guggenheim Museum designed by Frank Gehry. These photos were taken in the Casco Viejo, or Old Quarter.

Materials used:
-Bazzill
-Christina Re, Dasiy D's and My Mind's Eye papers
-Heidi Swapp damask mask, sticker and felt rubons
-Ink
-Lil Davis chipdboard word
-Creative Imaginations and Heidi Grace alphabets
-Ribbon
-Rhinestones
-Dymo labeller
